Cody Rhodes has revealed that he and his long-time rival, Seth Rollins, once had to step in and produce an entire WWE live event by themselves.
Speaking with Damian Priest on his What Do You Want to Talk About? podcast, Rhodes recalled a time a snowstorm in Nebraska stranded the show’s producers, leaving the wrestlers without direction for a live event in El Paso, Texas.
“We had a show to do. No producers. Me and Seth, we were producers,” Cody explained. He noted that he chartered a private jet to get the wrestlers to the show, but not the producers. “I put the boys on the flight. We have to do the show. Love the producers, but we had to do the show.”
Rhodes praised Rollins for his work that day, suggesting it’s a role he will have again.
“Seth is doing it and doing an incredible job. Obviously, that’s in his future. I’m sure the world can figure that out,” he said.
