Cody Rhodes Stretchered Out After Attack By Kevin Owens After WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Went Off The Air

The Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Ownes feud appears to be continuing.

As many of you saw during tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes retained the WWE Championship after Owens almost had the match one. Because the referee was knocked out, he wasn’t able to get the 3-count. Rhodes fought back and retained his title.

After they went off the air, Owens hit Cody with the piledrive that put Randy Orton out of action. Rhodes was stretchered out of the arena. The rematch could happen on any of the big WWE shows coming up in the next couple of months.

WWE has Raw on Netflix premiering on January 6th. Also coming up is another Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio and the Royal Rumble on February 1st in Indianapolis. Raw on Netflix is the best bet for the rematch but we’ll see if that’s the direction WWE is headed in.
