Cody Rhodes To Join Exclusive Club At WWE WrestleMania 41

Cody Rhodes is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania 41 on Sunday from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. The match was set up when Cena won this year’s Elimination Chamber Match in March.

After the match, Rhodes turned down The Rock’s request to become his champion and turn heel. Once Rhodes said no, Cena turned heel, aligned with The Rock, and beat down Rhodes alongside Travis Scott and The Rock.

Fightful pointed out that Rhodes will join Roman Reigns, John Cena, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, and The Rock as wrestlers to main event three straight WrestleManias.

Rhodes made a return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, defeating Seth Rollins. He would go on to win back-to-back Royal Rumble Matches to ultimately fall short to WWE Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

At Last year’s Mania, Rhodes competed in both nights of WrestleMania 40. On Night 1, he teamed with Rollins in a losing effort against Roman Reigns and The Rock. On Night 2, in the main event, he defeated Reigns in a Bloodline Rules match to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.
