Cody Rhodes Wrestled In A First-Time-Ever Match After WWE Raw

The live crowd who attended this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was in for a special treat after the show went off the air as Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes wrestled in a first-time-ever match.

At the end of the show, The Bloodline helped Bron Breakker beat Jey Uso for the Intercontinental Title. This was after Solo Sikoa stated they wanted to help their cousin retain the title. It was Jacob Fatu, who took out Jey, allowing Breakker to win.

For the dark match, Fatu stayed around and worked a Philadelphia Street Fight in the dark match. Fatu put over the top star, marking his first singles match in WWE. He had only been working tag team matches since arriving in June.

Rhodes has invited the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for a face-to-face confrontation on Friday’s SmackDown ahead of their Crown Jewel showdown.
