If WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch wanted to make the move to MMA then Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh thinks he could help her train to be a talented MMA fighter.
In the past, Lynch has expressed interest in teaming up with McGregor to take on Ronda Rousey and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in a mixed tag team match. This came up when she was asked about a potential WWE show at Croke Park, which is an 82,300 seat venue in Ireland.
When Lynch has time off, she travels to Ireland and trains with Kavanagh. Thus, while Kavanagh was doing a recent interview with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, he made it known that he thinks Lynch would do well in the sport although he doesn’t think she’ll leave WWE in the near future.
"If she were to say to me tomorrow, ‘You know what, I want to give MMA a go,’ give me a year and I’d have her fighting at a high level. No doubt. She has an engine and she’s tough as hell.”
He would add, “We know she’s not going to freeze under the big lights. She would do very well.”
