WWE has announced two segments for SmackDown on FOX next Friday night.
First up, is an appearance by former NFL player Rob Gronkowski and Raw Superstar Mojo Rawley, which was expected. There have been various reports regarding Gronkowski signing with the company.
In these reports, it’s been noted that Gronk would be appearing on this show. The belief is that this is where WWE will officially announce that he has signed with the company.
Also, WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg will return to SmackDown in order for him and Roman Reigns to sign their WrestleMania 36 contract.
Of course, WWE has already confirmed that Goldberg will make his next title defense against Reigns at the show, which is the biggest event of the year for the company.
As of this writing, there’s still no official update on where this show will air from as it’s currently planned to take place in New Orleans.
However, it’s extremely likely that the show will be canceled and air from the WWE Performance Center due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
