Cora Jade “in the race” for main roster move after impressing WWE officials

Cora Jade is someone to keep an eye on for a potential move from WWE NXT to the main roster as part of this year’s WWE Draft.

Jade signed with NXT in 2021. Since her arrival, Jade has been pushed as a main player in the NXT women’s division, including as a babyface star before turning heel when she attacked Roxanne Perez.

On Tuesday’s episode of NXT, Jade beat Lyra Valkyria in a singles match. This was one day after she lost to Nikki Cross on Monday before Raw for the Main Event taping.

The WWE Draft takes on the April 28 episode of SmackDown and is followed up on the May 1st episode of Monday Night Raw.

Pwinsider Elite reports WWE management was really high on Jade after her match for WWE Main Event. It will air this Thursday on Hulu.

The report added there were some who felt she’d got herself “in the race” for a call-up to the main roster.
