Former NXT star and current WWE announcer Corey Graves recently spoke with USA Today about various topics. During the interview, he was asked about the new Cruiserweight show, 205 Live, on the WWE Network. Graves said that he is excited for the show as he thinks that it is the platform the Cruiserweights need. He added that the division is still new to the fans and there’s an unfamiliarity with the characters and the talent. He noted that the Cruiserweight Classic was hugely successful for the company and that the 205 Live show works as a companion to the Cruiserweights on RAW and gives the talents a chance to develop their characters. Graves said that the talents don’t have time show off their characters on RAW when there are so many multiple person matches. "With 205 Live focusing solely on the cruiserweights and who they are as people, I think this will be awesome for the division and the company as well,” Graves said.
Bill Goldberg has returned to WWE in order to have a rematch with Brock Lesnar at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event on November 20th in Toronto, Canada. Graves doesn’t expect that the match will be a disappointment as Goldberg is incredibly determined and one of the most intense people he has seen. He added that Goldberg is an absolute animal and is in unbelievable shape. Graves thinks that Goldberg wants to go out with a bang as WWE is hyping this match as his last match. Graves is a big fan of Lesnar’s, and he said that he would watch him any day of the week. “I think this match will blow people’s expectations out of the water,” Graves said. Graves added that this match is going to blow everyone’s mind.
