There were rumblings back in May that former TNA color commentator Taz could end up possibly working for WWE again. I have heard that there were suggestions made in recent weeks about bringing Taz back. If they do bring him back then the perfect time to do it would be on Saturday night at the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn show. Perhaps he could be the color commentator on the show. If there is no spot available for him as a full-time commentator then it wouldn’t be a bad idea to give him a spot as a trainer at the Performance Center.
Also, one other thing to note is that there will be an interview up on WWE.com tomorrow with current and former Superstars giving their predictions for SummerSlam. Tommy Dreamer, Edge, and Taz are some of the names that were interviewed.
Taz last appeared in WWE in 2009 as a color commentator on Smackdown. He left the company after his contract expired. He was added to the alumni section of WWE’s website in 2014. He still lives in Brooklyn, which happens to be the site of Saturday night’s NXT Takeover so it wouldn’t be hard for WWE and Taz to keep things under wraps until the show since they wouldn’t have to worry about fans seeing him at the airport hours before the show. We’ll see what happens.
