Court Grants Odyssey Jones An Order Of Protection Against Former Partner For Alleged Harassment

Odyssey Jones, real name Omari Palmer, broke his silence over the weekend about being fired by WWE in 2024 after domestic violence allegations came to WWE’s attention. Now, there is a new development.

Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics and Post Wrestling reported that court documents note he was granted an order of protection against his former partner in September 2024. The legal petition submitted alleged the former WWE star was the target of multiple incidents of harassment and threats from his ex-partner due to an incident on a May 2024 cruise ship. This is where he stated there were physical attacks on him.

Palmer stated his ex-partner’s behavior was escalating and that he felt he was in “imminent danger.” There are no statements from his partner in the court documents.

There are no known criminal charges or arrests that have been made related to the situation. The court in Florida granted Palmer a temporary injunction for protection against dating violence in September 2024. A court order was made to restrict contact or proximity with the person named in the petition, often in response to allegations of abuse or harassment. That has been extended twice and again on January 6th for an additional three years.

Palmer will continue to have legal protections against any contact or harassment from his ex-partner during this period. There was also an incident in December 2023 at a hotel where he alleges his ex-partner “showed up uninvited and unannounced and attacked me in front of my friend and other witnesses.”

One of the incidents described in the petition allegedly occurred during a May 2024 cruise, where Palmer alleges that his ex-partner, intoxicated at the time, physically attacked him.
