Former UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg continues to get people talking about a potential career in the WWE. For years now, she has wanted to face WWE Raw Women’s and former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.
While a fight inside of the Octagon under the UFC banner never happened, a potential wrestling match is possible.
Cyborg, who was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in late January, made her stance known about pro wrestling when she stated in a post on her official Twitter account that, “Let me make wrestling real again Ronnie! #FreeCyborg @wwe.”

This comes after Rousey released a YouTube video where she made several interesting comments including calling wrestling fake.
Cyborg recently spoke to MMAFighting.com and during the interview, she noted that she would be up for the challenge [facing Rousey] if something popped up in the WWE. She also thinks that a lot of people would tune in to watch them go at it.
It’s worth noting that Rousey and Cyborg have never liked each other and this dates back to Rousey’s UFC days. For that reason, it seems unlikely that we’ll ever see them in a WWE ring against each other.
