Crown Jewel rematch announced for next week’s WWE Monday Night Raw

WWE has announced the first match for next week’s episode of Raw, which will be the post-show of the Survivor Series PPV event for the red brand.

This contest will see AJ Styles will defend his United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo on this show. WWE set up this match on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Boston, MA at the TD Garden on the USA Network.

They did so when Carrillo defeated Karl Anderson in a singles match. In the middle of the match, The Street Profits came out to even the odds against The O.C., and helped Carrillo win.

Styles cut a promo prior to the match where he talked about although he wanted to defend his title against the WWE newcomer, he felt disrespected by Carrillo last week.

Carrillo teamed with Randy Orton & Ricochet and pinned Styles in a six-man tag main event on last week’s Raw.

WWE holds this show in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena the night after Survivor series where Styles will take on Shinsuke Nakamura and Roderick Strong in a triple threat match.

At the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium on the WWE Network last month, Styles retained the United States Title over Carrillo, who had earned the title match after winning a 20-man battle royal on the pre-show.
