During Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, WWE ran a vignette to hype the return of Curt Hawkins to the SmackDown Live brand. Hawkins was one of the several former WWE stars called to return because the company needs to fill slots on the RAW and SmackDown rosters.

Hawkins is a former WWE Tag Team Champion with Zack Ryder. He was released from his WWE contract in 2014. After his last WWE stint, he wrestled for PWG, and he represented Global Force Wrestling in the GFW vs. TNA storyline last year. He was also featured in the Global Force Wrestling TV tapings in Las Vegas last year.
No word yet on when he will make his WWE TV return.
