Dalton Castle has become one of the most unique characters in the world of pro wrestling, which has furthered his career and made him over with the fans who watch the Ring of Honor product.
This pushed him to the top of the card where he would become ROH World Heavyweight Champion. With all of the uncertainty of who is staying and going in ROH right now as most contracts for talents are slated to expire in January 2019, there has been a lot of talk as to who will remain with the promotion.
Castle is in that same situation with a lot of speculation as to what he’ll do. He just lost to Matt Taven at last Friday’s ROH Final Battle pay-per-view event and took part in the final TV tapings of 2018.
During a recent interview with longtime pro wrestling journalist Bill Apter of 1Wrestling, Castle talked about the rumors of being on WWE’s radar as someone who they’d like to sign.
“Of course I’ve heard those rumors,” Castle stated. “Who wouldn’t be interested in Dalton Castle? I think about them a lot. It is a big world out there. I don’t know what to say to you Bill, you want the scoop? I got a lucrative offer from WCW and I’m thinking about taking it.”
