Damian Priest Signs New Contract With WWE

Damian Priest won’t be going anywhere anytime soon after inking a new deal with WWE.

After making a name for himself in ROH, Priest signed with WWE, starting in NXT before being called up to the main roster. His career took off after being paired with Bad Bunny in 2021 for a tag team match at WrestleMania 37 and was later put with Edge in Judgment Day. He became the leader of the faction that includes Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, JD McDonaugh, and Domnik Mysterio.

Priest won the Money in the Bank briefcase last year at the themed PLE before cashing it in on Sunday night at WrestleMania 40 after Drew McIntyre beat Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title. Priest quickly put away McIntyre to become the new champion.

Following Monday’s Raw, Priest spoke with WWE Digital, where he confirmed the news. The terms were not disclosed.

“This has been already a great year for me. New contract. New title. New theme song, voiced by yours truly. Judgment Day’s on fire.”
