Dana White Addresses Possible Ronda Rousey Return for UFC 300 Fight

There has been speculation that Ronda Rousey may be considering a UFC return after she wrapped up her most recent run with WWE. UFC 300 rumors picked up again this week.

The former UFC star hasn’t fought since suffering back-to-back losses. She was dethroned of the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title by Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015 as Holm knocked her out with a head kick before she suffered a 48-second TKO loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016.

The speculation first started when UFC fighter Chelsea Chandler told MMA Junkie that she heard Rousey was returning as a featherweight. Earlier this week, the Daily Mail reported Rousey wants to make a UFC return, with UFC 300 next year being the goal date for the return to happen.

While speaking with Aaron Bronsteter of TSN Sports, UFC President Dana White ruled out the possibility of a Rousey UFC return. This is the second time White dismissed the rumors.

“Stop reading the Daily Mail, everything that they write is a crock of sh*t Ronda’s having kids! Ronda built this whole thing that’s going on with the women here, then her dream was to go to the WWE, she went there and did everything that she did there and achieved, she’s made sh*tloads of money. She’s moved on with her life.”
