The chances of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar fighting in the UFC again are not looking good. He was fined $250k of his disclosed $2.5 million purse and received a one-year suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for failing his drug tests that were collected on June 28 and July 9 for anti-estrogen drugs called clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene after his fight with Mark Hunt at UFC 200 this past July.
Although there has been no indication that Lesnar intends to return to the UFC to fight again, he would be eligible to fight again on July 9, 2017.
TMZ recently caught up with UFC President Dana White and asked him about Lesnar’s future in the promotion. White stated that he that he doubts Lesnar fights again and that he doesn’t know how much longer he is under contract with WWE. “I think his career is winding down, but he’s a freak of nature,” White said. He added that who knows and that maybe Lesnar will call him and say he wants to fight again, but White believes that he is ready to ride off into the sunset.
