Danhausen has commented on the crowd reaction to his WWE debut at Elimination Chamber in Chicago on February 28, 2026. Emerging from a shipping crate alongside several dancers, Danhausen presented commentator Michael Cole with a jar of teeth before disappearing. While the live audience at the United Center responded with audible boos, Danhausen maintained during a recent Raw Recap appearance that he received a positive reception.
“Oh, there was thunderous applause,” Danhausen stated. “It was great. I came out and they yelled, ‘Yes! Finally Danhausen has arrived.’ I could hear each and every one of them hop off their seats and get up and applaud, and say, ‘Up yours Dracula, Danhausen did it first.’ Because Danhausen shipped himself in a crate across the seas first, but it was to WWE, it was not The Last Voyage of the Demeter or whatever it’s called.”
Scouting The Commentary Table
The segment also featured a brief interaction with the commentary team, where Danhausen focused his attention on Michael Cole while dismissing Wade Barrett. He clarified that the gift of teeth was intended as a sign of respect for Cole’s long tenure with the company. He noted that he deliberately chose not to offer any gifts to Barrett, citing a lack of rapport with the former Intercontinental Champion.
“I gave it to Michael Cole because he’s been around for a long time, he’s earned it,” Danhausen explained. “He earned it and I hope he uses it well. But I was quite rude to Mr. Wade Barrett. I had some Bad News for him, if you will. I said, ‘I don’t have any gifts for you – up yours.’” The interaction left the broadcast team in a state of visible confusion, which Danhausen noted he “doesn’t expect everyone to get right away.”
Road to WrestleMania 42 and Roster Status
Following his debut, Danhausen has appeared on both Raw and SmackDown, though he remains a free agent without a permanent brand assignment.
