Daniel Bryan commented on WWE.com’s article on AJ Styles, IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows possibly signing with WWE. He posted the following on Instagram:

Bryan has been cleared by an independent doctor to return to in-ring action, but WWE’s doctor will not clear him. Bryan was supposed to visit a third doctor, but we have not heard what the results were. It will be interesting to see what happens between Bryan and WWE. He has indicated that he would continue wrestling outside of WWE if they don’t clear him.
During an interview with sg.news.yahoo.com last month, Bryan said that he would like to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura in WWE.
“I wouldn’t call the Japanese promotions “indie”, but I’d love to bring Shinsuke Nakamura over. I love Shinsuke, and I’ve known him for ages. What I love about his style is that he incorporates facets of reality into his matches.”
