Current WWE Champion Daniel Bryan made it known once he was medically cleared to come out of retirement and return as an active pro wrestler that he was more than willing to take on any challengers.
Well, that appears to include not only WWE Superstars but pro-MMA fighters as well as Bellator MMA star Aaron Chalmers has issued a challenge to Bryan through the power of social media. Bryan has taken on all challengers since returning to in-ring action earlier this year at WrestleMania 35 where he has faced the likes of Big Cass to The Miz to Brock Lesnar and currently AJ Styles.
Chalmers is currently looking for a warmup fight before he competes in his scheduled fight for the first time in the United States next year. This prospect has competed four times with all of those fights ending in his favor as a pro-MMA fighter. He issued the following challenge to the WWE Champion by writing the following on his official Twitter account:
“Yo @WWEDanielBryan. May I’m set to make my debut fighting in USA. If your not to beat up after Mania what you saying….”

Chalmers made his promotional debut with Bellator MMA, which is owned by Viacom, back at Bellator 200 where he beat Ash Griffiths via technical submission. On the flip side, Bryan is slated to make his next title defense against Styles at the upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view event that takes place on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 in San Jose, California at the SAP Center.
