Daniel Bryan recently went to get another opinion at UCLA and he was cleared. He underwent a battery of tests before being given the green light. As of this writing, Bryan still has not been cleared by a WWE doctor due to his history of concussions. We first noted that Bryan was going to be in Pittsburgh this week for an appearance and we were also told that he might be seeing WWE doctor Joseph Maroon but that is not the case.
If he gets cleared by WWE then he would be ready to go immediately. Bryan has not been shy about his desire for WWE to clear him. He posted this on twitter in response to a tweet quoted from something he said on Total Divas:
"I'm still trying to COME BACK TO WRESTLING" – @WWEDanielBryan
The MAGIC words. #TotalDivas pic.twitter.com/GQsDckIxVR

As we’ve noted in the past, WWE has been hesitant to clear him because of the recent concussion lawsuits and potential liability that the company may incur in the future. It’s a shame that he’s not being cleared by WWE because they really need the star power right now as they start the build towards WrestleMania.
