Daniel Bryan: “If I had the guts, I would quit and go do the indies”

Despite the heavy tease during the commercials that aired on Raw, Daniel Bryan barely mentioned The Miz on this week’s Smackdown Live but he did talk about everything on this week’s Talking Smack.

Bryan said that he got up and left because Miz was right and some of Bryan’s friends said that it looked like he wanted to punch Miz in the face. Bryan said, “The Biggest thing is [that] he was right.” He added, “I feel like I’m healthy. If I had the guts, I would quit and go do the indies.” Bryan said that he probably wouldn’t do Bingo halls but he would do Tokyo Dome shows.

In response to Renee Young saying that Bryan needs to worry about his health, Bryan noted that he and wife Brie Bella are working on having kids. He also said that they (WWE) are not letting him and Miz do anything else together on TV. Everything was played up as a shoot and, if last week’s segment was indeed a shoot, then I guess this is the end of The Miz-Daniel Bryan saga. I should note that there has been zero talk in WWE about Bryan wrestling again.
