– SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan took to Twitter to comment on the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and John Cena at the Royal Rumble. He noted that although SmackDown Live only had one match featured on the Royal Rumble main card, it was the best match on the show in his opinion.

– As seen at Saturday’s NXT Takeover: San Antonio event, Seth Rollins hijacked the show to call out Triple H for a fight, which led to Triple H sending out security guards to remove Rollins. Stephanie McMahon then announced during the live broadcast of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event that she would have a face-to-face with Rollins on tonight’s RAW and would address his actions. Rollins posted the following jab on Twitter to hype the segment:
