Earlier this week, I noted that Daniel Bryan was pulled from this weekend’s live events. He was scheduled for rematches with Kofi Kingston but that has changed to Kingston defending the WWE Championship against Randy Orton.
At this point, there is still no word on the nature of his injury but it’s worth noting that WWE typically stays quiet whenever there’s a concussion-related issue. Hopefully, that is not the case.
Bryan was also scheduled for Sunday’s live event at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN but he has been pulled from that show as well.
As of this writing, he is still advertised for Monday’s live event at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Kevin Owens is listed as his opponent but remember that the card is subject to change and that match looks like it will be changed.
The Pinnacle Bank Arena has him listed against Kofi Kingston in a dark match on Tuesday night but don’t bet on that match happening either. As noted earlier, Kingston is now scheduled to take on Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown Live.
Bryan is still advertised for events after next week with matches scheduled against Kofi Kingston. We’ll see if he is cleared by that time.
