Daniel Bryan says he was “borderline offended” by John Cena’s Smackdown promo

Following Tuesday night’s Smackdown Live, the new Talking Smack post-show with Daniel Bryan and Renee Young debuted on the WWE Network. Bryan had a lot to say about the John Cena and AJ Styles segment, specifically Cena’s comments.

Bryan said that everybody wants to be better than Cena because Cena sets the standard but he was “borderline offended” by Cena’s comments regarding Styles going somewhere else if things don’t work out for him. Bryan said that he was fired twice from WWE and he had to go somewhere else to make a living. He said that Styles has a family to provide for so he would have to go somewhere else (WWE) and Styles had to work hard for years to get his opportunity with WWE. He added that he gets where Cena is coming from and John doesn’t need the money and he still shows up every week but that doesn’t mean that he should knock AJ for going somewhere else.
