UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier has sent a message to former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.
Cormier took part in UFC 241 Media Day this week where he once again asked about Lesnar’s decision to opt to remain with WWE and not fight him in the UFC.
Back in April, it was revealed that Lesnar was retiring from competition and won’t attempt a comeback. This was a change in plans for the promotion as they had been trying to get a fight done between the two fighters.
Cormier made his thoughts known while talking with “The Schmo.”
“He didn’t want the smoke. Brock decided to stay in the WWE and I think it’s smart, right? You either go and perform or you come and fight me. It just makes more sense to stay in the WWE.”
