As noted earlier, WWE has announced that Dave Bautista and the NWO will be the headliners for the 2020 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony in Tampa, Florida.
Fans on social media have suggested several names who could do the honor of inducting the former WWE Champion. Names like Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Triple H have been suggested and Xavier Woods suggested D-Von Dudley. Long-time fans will remember that Bautista was introduced to WWE fans as Deacon Bautista and he was the henchman for D-Von.
However, Bautista has other ideas. He tweeted, “I owe a lot to all those names mentioned and many more but for personal reasons I’ve personally requested that @ringfox1 induct me into the #WWEHOF … I’m sure that anyone who knows Fit Finlay will not question my request.”
@ringfox1 is Dave “Fit” Finlay and he would be an excellent choice to induct The Animal. Finlay is loved by everyone in the locker room and he has helped the careers of hundreds of wrestlers, including many of the women from past and present.
The 2020 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will happen on Thursday, April 6 during WrestleMania week in Tampa, Florida. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 12 pm eastern at Ticketmaster.
No word yet on who is being considered to induct the NWO.
