Davey Boy Smith Jr. wanted by police for simple battery incident at WrestleCon involving Jake Roberts

Davey Boy Smith Jr. is not off the hook after allegedly throwing coffee at Jake Roberts during WrestleCon in New Orleans.

Pro Wrestling Sheet got a statement from the New Orleans Police Department:

The NOPD is investigating a simple battery incident that occurred on April 7, 2018 in the 500 block of Canal Street. The victim told police that at about 11 a.m., he was signing autographs at the location when he was approached by a known subject, later identified as Harry Smith (DOB: 08-02-1985). The victim told police he attempted to shake hands with Smith, at which time a verbal argument ensued. Smith then allegedly threw a cup of coffee at the victim’s face and fled the scene. No major injuries were reported by the victim.

Smith is wanted for battery in connection with this incident and they want anyone with additional information to contact the NOPD Eighth District detectives.

The issues between Smith and Roberts date back a few years. Smith had said some negative things about his father in interviews. Smith had issues with Scott Hall but Hall later apologized so there is no heat between them. Roberts, when confronted at WrestleCon, refused to apologize and that is when Smith allegedly threw the coffee in his face.
