WWE is reporting that Dean Ambrose’s injury will force him to be out of action for approximately nine months. The news was reported on the Christmas episode of Monday Night Raw by Michael Cole.
Ambrose underwent successful surgery last Tuesday to repair a high-grade triceps tendon injury. He has already begun physical therapy, starting with light range-of-motion exercises.
We had hoped that the injury was not severe enough to keep him out for more than 3-4 months but this injury timetable would mean that he would not be back in time for WrestleMania. The injury timetable for his return would be sometime in August or September.
