Dean Ambrose is legitimately injured
Published on
Fans watched this week’s Monday Night Raw may have noticed that Dean Ambrose was injured during The Shield vs. Sheamus/Cesaro match. It looked like it might have been a storyline injury.
However, as reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer website, Ambrose has a legitimate elbow injury. It’s not clear how severe the injury is but he was already hurt when he arrived at Raw.
So, technically what happened during the match (and the post-match attack from Samoa Joe) was a storyline but it was to cover for his real injury. We don’t know how long he will be out of action but we’ll provide updates when they become available.
