The Shield members Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins were the recent trio to appear on the WWE Network’s Table for 3 show. The three discussed their humble beginnings at FCW and NXT, how they were “nobodies” before coming to the main roster – which actually helped their character, and more.

Video footage aired of the Raw in June of 2014 when The Shield broke up, due to Seth Rollins being the “Plan B” and jumping ship to The Authority. Rollins admitted that it felt weird being a single’s competitor again, as he had to quickly transition without his Shield brethren.
Ambrose talked about how he was not prepared to go the babyface route after starting his main roster single’s career following the breakup.
“I had no idea what to do when [the breakup happened]. I was definitely not prepared to make people like me. And I didn’t think they would. And I was, through the whole thing, I was always kinda trying to make it like I’m kinda the a**hole here. One day, everybody’s gonna know that he’s the a**hole. I was always trying to plant those little seeds in everybody’s head. And then, all of a sudden, it was like, oh; if nobody likes me, then this isn’t gonna work very well. I’m like, I don’t really know how to do that. So I went, I’m just gonna do nothing and not try at all. I’m just gonna wear the same jeans that I’m coming to the building with. I’m not gonna have an entrance, I’m not gonna do anything cool. I’m just gonna come to the ring and start fighting people and get beat up a lot.”
The three also talked about how each of them become very successful stars after breaking up. This was aired before the reunion, and Rollins threw out the tease of the trio forming again.
