Detailed NXT spoilers taped on 6/12/19: former Impact stars debut, big heel turn



WWE taped another round of NXT TV tapings at Full Sail University on Thursday night (6/12/19).

Here are the spoilers, courtesy of Jacob Cohen. He sure to give his wife a follow at @cityfoodiful on Twitter and Instagram.

WWE cameras filmed NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits celebrating outside of Full Sail University with the fans.

NXT TV tapings

– Rinku defeated Sean Maluta (Dark match)

– A 49-second moment of silence on the anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting to honor the 49 people who died.

– The Undisputed Era kick off the show. Adam Cole said winning the NXT Championship was only the beginning and they will remake NXT into and Undisputed image. They showed a new NXT intro with only images and clips of The Undisputed Era. NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream walked out and said Cole looks good with the NXT Title but it would look better on Dream along with his North American Title. Roderick Strong says Dream doesn’t deserve to be NXT North American Champion. Matt Riddle walks out and says he beat Strong at Takeover and Cole before that. Tyler Breeze walks out and says he’s tired of Undisputed Era taking credit for the brand that Breeze built. A match was made for later…Riddle, Dream and Breeze vs. 3 members of TUE.

– Damian Priest defeated Raul Mendoza

– A unique tournament was announced by William Regal. The Breakout Tournament will consist of names that have never appeared on NXT TV. Later, the brackets were revealed.

Jordan Myles vs. Boa
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Cameron Grimes

The right side of the brackets
Bronson Reed vs. Dexter Lumus
Angel Garza vs. Joqquin Wilde

– Xia Li vs. Taynara Conti

– The Undisputed Era defeated Matt Riddle, Velveteen Dream and Tyler Breeze. Strong pinned Dream after gave Breeze a blind tag that ended up costing his team the match.

– Angel Garza (formerly Garza Jr.) defeated Joaquin Wilde (formerly DJZ) in the first round of the Breakout Tournament.

– The Street Profits defeated The Forgotten Sons via DQ because of interference from Jaxson Ryker. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch made the save and said they want a shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles.

– Mia Yim defeated Aliyah

– KUSHIDA defeated Jeff Parker (from 3.0 tag team)

– Cameron Grimes (formerly Trevor Lee in Impact Wrestling) defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (formerly Shane Strickland in MLW)

– Bianca Belair defeated Priscilla Zuniga (formerly Diamante from LAX in Impact Wrestling)

– Roderick Strong defeated Tyler Breeze

– Jordan Myles (formerly ACH in ROH/NJPW) defeated BOA to advance in the Breakout Tournament

– Damian Priest defeated Blanco Loco

– Bronson Reed (formerly Jonah Rock) defeated Dexter Lumis (formerly Samuel Shaw in Impact Wrestling) to advance in the Breakout Tournament

– Shayna Baszler defeated Io Shirai to retain the NXT Women’s Championship in a steel cage match. Io Shirai attacked Candice LeRae after the match.
