Back on January 30th, WWE announced that Co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson departed the company and will no longer serve on its Board of Directors.
At the time it was announced that Frank A. Riddick III, had been named interim Chief Financial Officer.
WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon stated in February on a earnings conference call that the move was one he thought “as necessary” because “we have different views on how best to achieve our strategic priorities moving forward.”
Wrestlenomics Radio noted in a recent tweet that WWE’s proxy statement released to shareholders in advance of the company’s annual shareholders meeting shared the details on their severance package terms that come with their departure.
Wilson and Barrios each receive $1.4 million over 18 months. They also receive a $176k bonus, plus health, life and accident insurance over the 18 month period.
