Even in these uncertain times, WWE still considers themselves to be in a war with All Elite Wrestling and they are apparently not happy with anyone who works with them.
During an interview with talkSPORTS’s Alex McCarthy, Diamond Dallas Page said that WWE won’t work with him because he helped out Cody Rhodes.
DDP has said in the past that he did was still willing to work with WWE and the reason why he has helped out Cody (making appearances on AEW Dynamite and allowing AEW to use his Performance Center for AEW Dark segments) is that there would be no DDP without Dusty Rhodes.
DDP credits Dusty for a lot of his success in WCW and DDP has been friends with the Rhodes family for decades. He has also helped countless wrestlers in the business, including many current WWE stars and up and coming wrestlers at the Performance Center.
It looks like that relationship with WWE is fractured for now.
DDP tells #talkWRESTLING that WWE won't work with him at the moment because 'I helped out Cody'.
He says without Dusty Rhodes there is no DDP, so it was a no brainer for him.
