As noted, UFC President Dana White pointed out that WWE is “fake” on Twitter Saturday night when a fan compared the WWE Network to UFC Fight Pass:
@RKORollins I hear u bro but fake shit should be 9.99
— Dana White (@danawhite) August 1, 2015
@RKORollins trust me my friend….. IT’s FAKE — Dana White (@danawhite) August 1, 2015
@RKORollins not disrespecting what they do. All the WWE guys I have met are awesome people but yes it’s fake.

Former WCW star Glenn “Disco Inferno” Gilbertti has since defended White’s comments on Twitter by writing the following:
Pro wrestlers need to stop fighting with @danawhite. If the matches looked more realistic, then people wouldn't treat it condescendingly.

The fact that @BrockLesnar doesn't cripple everyone he wrestles in WWE with his bare hands makes @danawhite's argument for him.

Wrestlers are going to have to fight for real from now on in their matches to prove @danawhite wrong. Should be an interesting show.
