Many fans expect to see Roman Reigns back on WWE television soon, perhaps as soon as Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam PLE.
Earlier this year, Reigns went away after WrestleMania XL to take time off as he dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes on the second night after a highly praised alliance with The Rock. In the meantime, Solo Sikoa went from being the enforcer for Reigns to the new “Tribal Chief.”
This was done to explain why Reigns would feud with Sikoa once he returned. WWE had Solo say that Reigns was never coming back and lay out Paul Heyman after Heyman wouldn’t acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief.
WrestleVotes reported that one of the discussed ideas for Reigns’ return is about him being the original Tribal Chief. Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at SummerSlam.
With the impending return of Roman Reigns, sources state one of the discussed ideas is focused around Reigns claiming to be “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟” in response to the last few months of Solo Sikoa’s proclamations.
