- As noted, Linda McMahon has been picked by WWE Hall of Famer and President-elect Donald Trump to be the head of the Small Business Administration. Dixie Carter posted the following:

- 28-year-old New Zealand wrestler Evie has signed a developmental deal with WWE, according to Squared Circle Sirens. She received a tryout with the company back in August of 2014 when the company toured Australia. She was also a used as an enhancement talent on NXT in October of 2015 when she faced off against Nia Jax. She won the SHIMMER Tag Team Titles with Heidi Lovelace and held the titles for 140 days. She has also worked in Pro Wrestling Alliance, and Impact Pro Wrestling.

- Independent wrestler Shazza Mckenzie was a part of the Australian WWE tryouts on Thursday. She has wrestled for Shimmer Women Athletes, Melbourne City Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance and Shine Wrestling. Also, she wrestled at the SHIMMER tapings last month and at those tapings, she competed in a match with Shayna Baszler which saw her get busted open and required her to get stitches.
