Dr. Carlon Colker of Peak Wellness has filed a defamation lawsuit against Ann Callis, the attorney representing Janel Grant in her ongoing high-profile case against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis.
According to PWInsider, Colker’s attorneys lodged the 41-page complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut on Friday, May 2, 2025.
The suit alleges that Callis and her firm, the Holland Law Firm, defamed Dr. Colker and his clinic through statements disseminated in press releases and made during a live-streamed press conference on YouTube. These statements pertain to Grant’s lawsuit, which claims Colker and Peak Wellness facilitated alleged sexual abuse and trafficking by McMahon by administering unapproved treatments, providing unidentified substances, and enabling McMahon’s control. Grant’s suit also alleges Peak Wellness failed to provide complete medical records.
In his defamation filing, Dr. Colker vehemently denies these accusations. The complaint asserts that all relevant medical records were indeed delivered to Grant’s legal team last summer, reportedly including emails as evidence. Colker’s team further denies Grant was ever given unidentified substances and states that Grant voiced no concerns about her treatment when she concluded it back in 2022.
Dr. Colker is seeking punitive damages from Callis and her firm for allegedly knowingly spreading false information. As of this report, attorney Ann Callis has not yet issued a public response to the defamation lawsuit.
