Edge made his in-ring debut back in the 30-man Royal Rumble match at the pay-per-view event in January.
This marked Edge’s first match back since he announced his retirement in 2011 after he was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis. Due to the injury, he was forced to retire from in-ring action.
However, that changed when Edge used AEW as leverage in his contract negotiations, which led to the company to sign him to a new deal.
WWE 24: The Second Mountain is slated to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Edge’s journey to be medically cleared and make his return to in-ring action at the Royal Rumble.
Edge will face Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania. This show was originally slated to take place in Tampa, Florida but with the concerns of the virus, WWE was forced to move locations.
