Does WWE have plans for women’s match at Crown Jewel?



With WWE making its return to Saudi Arabia soon, there has been speculation as to whether women will be able to work a match at the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel PPV event. 

WWE had Natalya and Alexa Bliss travel over to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the WWE Super ShowDown pay-per-view event earlier this year in hopes of holding the first-ever women’s match there. However, those plans were nixed by the government due to their culture.

Dave Meltzer noted on Twitter that there are no plans for women to wrestle at Crown Jewel:

WWE holds the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium and will air on the WWE Network. 

The show starts at 1 p.m. ET on WWE Network with the WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff airing one hour earlier at 12 p.m. ET.
