Lately, Dolph Ziggler’s contractual status with WWE has been a hot topic amongst the professional wrestling community. There are different rumors circulating around regarding Ziggler’s content with the company right now. He is currently gearing up to defend his Intercontinental Championship tonight against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
He was recently interviewed by Mike Johnson of PWInsider to talk about his WWE contract. Johnson is reporting that Ziggler’s current deal is up at the end of this summer:
“I feel like you’ll have to see Sunday or Monday but I’ve also heard that [his deal was coming up.] I’ve also heard about several different contracts that I signed but I didn’t sign.”
Johnson asked Ziggler if that was a “no comment” on the matter, but Ziggler said he is commenting and things should become more clear tonight at SummerSlam or tomorrow on Monday Night RAW:
“So…I’m giving you a comment. I’ve been doing some great work and looking forward to doing what I do and Sunday or Monday, we’ll see what direction we’re heading in afterwards.”
