Dolph Ziggler reacts to critics who say they are sick of him, his “boring” promos, leaving WWE

Dolph Ziggler is getting ready for to wrestle WWE Champion Kofi Kingston in a steel cage match at Stomping Grounds on Sunday night. Before his match, Ziggler took some time by addressing some of his critics.

Ziggler took to Twitter to point out some of the things said about him including some fans saying that they are sick of seeing him. He also mentioned the fans who ripped him for quitting WWE several months ago and being the “same old DZ” when he returned for his feud with Kingston. Others have called his matches “boring” and that was also addressed in the tweet.

For anyone wondering why Ziggler was brought in to feud with Kingston on short notice, it’s because he was the replacement for Kevin Owens at Super ShowDown when Owens let the company know that he was not going to Saudi Arabia. WWE decided to extend the feud into Sunday’s Stomping Grounds pay-per-view. Ziggler’s time off was something he wanted because he wanted to focus on stand up comedy and he felt like he needed fans to miss him for a while so he could come back as a fresh act.

Ziggler will likely look to steal the show this Sunday so expect a good (or great) match on Sunday when he challenges for the WWE Championship on Sunday.

Here is the tweet for Ziggler:
