Dolph Ziggler recently spoke with Sky Sports to promote Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. During the interview, he was asked about Kurt Angle. He said that when he was looking to get into pro wrestling, Angle was doing very well in WWE and being great at his job, so he got a tryout with the company. He noted that guys like Angle paved the way for people like him who wrestled in college and transitioned to pro wrestling. He said that it would be a dream come true if he were to get the chance to get in the ring with him and has all of the respect in the world for him.
When asked who he wants to see in this year’s Royal Rumble, Ziggler stated that he would like to see Scott Steiner in the match because Steiner is his dad’s favorite wrestler so he would like to superkick him out of the ring.
When asked about being in the same ring as Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, and The Undertaker in the Royal Rumble match. He said he would love to be in the ring with those guys because he knows how good his conditioning is and doesn’t know if they could hang with him.
Ziggler also discussed his favorite Rumble moment. You can read the full interview here.
