Following a chaotic main event at TriplemanÃa XXXIII this past Saturday, WWE has announced that Dominik Mysterio will challenge El Hijo del Vikingo in a one-on-one rematch for the AAA Mega Championship. The highly anticipated title match is scheduled for the upcoming Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas on Friday, September 12.
The Challenge After TriplemanÃa
The announcement was made after Mysterio issued a challenge to Vikingo following their multi-man title match at AAA’s biggest show of the year on August 16. In the main event of TriplemanÃa XXXIII, El Hijo del Vikingo successfully defended his championship in a four-way match that also included Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano. Unsatisfied with the outcome, “Dirty Dom” immediately challenged the champion to a singles match.
