Dominik Mysterio Reveals New Lucha-Inspired Neck Tattoo

Current WWE Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, is sporting some new ink. While in Australia for WWE’s international tour, Mysterio was seen with a new, lucha-inspired neck tattoo. The new piece, which features a classic lucha mask design, is a nod to his rich family heritage in the world of Lucha Libre.

This is not the first lucha-inspired tattoo for the third-generation superstar. Mysterio has previously shown off a collection of tattoos on his fingers, with each finger adorned with the mask of a legendary luchador, a tribute to the icons of the sport. Since turning on his father, the legendary Rey Mysterio, and joining The Judgment Day, Dominik has become one of the most despised heels in all of WWE.

His ability to generate heat from the crowd has made him a main event player, and he has backed it up with championship success. He is a two-time former NXT North American Champion and is currently in his first reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, a title he won at WrestleMania 41. He is also a dual champion, having defeated El Hijo del Vikingo for the prestigious AAA Mega Championship at the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event last month.

Dominik is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which will take place in Perth, Australia, ahead of the Crown Jewel premium live event. He is scheduled to face Penta. Following that, he is reportedly planned to have a major match at the upcoming Survivor Series premium live event. For more on that, click here.
