Doors have opened for WWE and AEW to welcome more fans into their shows

The Toronto Raptors have announced plans to welcome fans for the upcoming NBA season.

Due to travel restrictions, they will be playing their games at Tampa’s Amalie Arena and the plan is for fewer than 3,200 seats to be made available for their pre-season game and 3,800 seats for regular-season games.

They will seat fans in pods, similar to what AEW has been doing for their weekly Dynamite shows, and everyone over the age of 2 will be required to wear a mask. They also plan to make sure there is physical distancing in the stands when people are moving around and there will be health screenings for all guests as they enter the facility. Cashless payments will be implemented for food and beverage payments in the parking lot.

This opens the door for AEW and WWE to do the same with their shows. AEW is already letting in up to 1000 fans to their shows with health and social distancing guidelines being followed and it’s no secret that Vince McMahon wants fans to attend the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Do not be surprised if fans are welcomed back to WWE shows within the next few weeks.
