Cody Rhodes Ambushed by Drew McIntyre in Vicious Parking Lot Assault
The November 21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown opened with a shocking scene of violence, as WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was discovered battered and bloody in the parking lot following an attack by Drew McIntyre.
The show began with Paul Heyman standing in the ring alongside Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul. As Logan Paul attempted to speak, the group was interrupted by the arrival of The Usos.
The Usos Confront ‘The Vision’
Jimmy and Jey Uso came to ringside to confront the opposing team. Paul Heyman immediately pointed out the numbers disadvantage, issuing a stark warning to the brothers. Heyman told them, “there are four of us and two of you and you’re going to get your ass whipped.”
The Usos, however, remained defiant. They retorted that they “didn’t show up alone,” signaling for their partner, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, to join them.
A Bloody Discovery
Cody Rhodes’ music hit the arena speakers, but the champion failed to appear on the entrance ramp. The scene took a dark turn as the cameras cut to the parking lot.
In a shocking visual, Drew McIntyre was shown stepping out of Cody Rhodes’ tour bus. The camera then panned to reveal Rhodes inside, “bleeding from his forehead” following a brutal ambush by the “Scottish Warrior.” This attack further escalates the tension heading into Survivor Series: WarGames, where McIntyre recently solidified his alliance with Heyman’s team.
