Drew McIntyre has taken to social media with a promo, taking aim at both the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton.
Drew McIntyre Takes Aim At Cody Rhodes
In a video posted to his X account, McIntyre addressed Cody Rhodes’s current absence, which is a result of McIntyre’s attack on him on the August 22 episode of SmackDown. He declared that the “winds of change are blowing through WWE” and that his mission is to remove the “Golden Boy” from the top spot.
“God knows when he’s gonna be back. WWE sure as hell won’t reveal what’s actually wrong with their Golden Boy. Enjoy that title while you can, Cody, it’s a gift,” McIntyre said…..”The winds of change are blowing through WWE, and we’re sick of the same Cody reruns, week after week.”
A Warning For Randy Orton
McIntyre then turned his attention to Randy Orton, someone he has also had recent issues. He compared Orton to “Old Yeller” and accused him of being “self-destructive” and looking for a way out of the industry.
He then warned Orton not to try another sneak attack on this week’s SmackDown.
