A No-DQ match was set up earlier in the show between Drew McIntyre and Jimmy Uso. The match stipulation was used early, as Drew McIntyre brought a chair into the ring. The move backfired when Jimmy Uso used a toehold to drop McIntyre onto the steel. Jimmy followed up with an “Uso in the Wind” for a near fall.
Jimmy then took control with the chair, hitting Drew with multiple shots to the back. He set up a table at ringside, but when he returned to the ring, Drew hit him with the Future Shock for a two-count.
McIntyre set up for a Claymore Kick, but as he charged, Jimmy Uso caught him and delivered a Samoan Drop through the table. Jimmy went to the top rope to follow up, but as he came down, McIntyre hit him in the face with a steel chair.
This allowed McIntyre to hit the Claymore Kick and get the pinfall victory. At the end of the match, Drew had visible cuts on his back from the earlier chair shots.
Post-Match Assault
McIntyre was not finished with Jimmy Uso. After the bell, he wrapped the steel chair around Jimmy’s neck and began pushing down on it, threatening serious injury.
This brought Cody Rhodes to the ring, who brawled with McIntyre and forced him to retreat. However, as Cody turned his attention to check on the injured Jimmy Uso, McIntyre rushed back into the ring and hit Rhodes with a Claymore Kick. The show went off the air with McIntyre standing over the fallen Cody Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, 2025.
