Drew McIntyre knows which opponent could give him his greatest match, but wants to save it for fans

Drew McIntyre did an interview with Vicente Beltrán of ViBe & Wrestling to discuss a wide range of topics.

During the chat, was asked about possibly going to WWE NXT UK for a match against their top star and champion, Walter.

This has been a match that the WWE Champion has talked about in the past. While McIntyre is very much interested in doing it, he understands that the COVID-19 pandemic creates challenges in making it happen.

He also would want fans to be able to attend. Thus, he thinks the match will have to wait.

“Yes, I’m bothering Triple H all the time, although I’m sure that I’m not the only one who bothers him, so that he lets me go to NXT here in America or more specifically to NXT UK but obviously,  with the current restrictions it is not possible, so I think that now that I am WWE Champion, What else can I do? What I can do? Let me go to NXT UK! Give me a PPV in UK and then let me go to NXT UK. Yes, the greatest match I could have is against WALTER, I think it would be very cool to save it for when the fans can get back in the building.”

McIntyre also talked about memories of Animal and Legion of Doom, the most intimidating star – Undertaker, Brock Lesnar or Randy Orton – and much more.
